Morton's Neuroma

Morton's neuroma is a thickening or swollen nerve that gets pinched between the metatarsals of the foot.  It is generally caused by an abnormally functioning foot causing excessive irritation of the nerve by the metatarsals.

Treatments for Morton's neuroma include cortisone injections, changes in shoe gear and orthotics, alcohol sclerosing injections and/or surgery.
