Fungal Toenails
Fungal toenails are caused by microorganisms which also causes common athletes foot. These organisms invade the nail growth area as opposed to the skin. The nail growth area is covered by the nail making treatment more difficult than treating athletes foot. Treatments for fungal toenails include topical medications and in later stages of the problem oral medications. The Laser PIN POINTE is not FDA approved for the treatment of fungus toenails.
